Complete Tax

If you have not yet filed your return, either electronically or by mail, our program allows you to change your tax information at no additional charge.

However, if you have successfully filed, you will need to file an amended form 1040X (and perhaps one for your state as well) to correct any information. This must be done by mail, the IRS does not accept Form 1040X electronically. If your return was rejected for electronic filing, then you can make any corrections necessary, and resubmit the return for electronic filing. Otherwise, you will need to mail in the amended return 1040X.
