The printout of my return looks all wrong, nothing like the image on my monitor. What happened?

When an Adobe PDF file prints to an HP LaserJet III, IV, or V - the graphics and True Type Fonts print incorrectly.

The following are possible solutions to this problem. If you still have difficulty printing, you can contact Adobe Technical Services for additional printing solutions.

    In the Windows control panel, select the Printers icon.

  1. Using Windows 95/98/ME: Right click on the Printers Icon and select Properties. In the Properties dialog box, select the Fonts panel, select Print TrueType as Graphics in the True Type fonts section.

  2. Using Windows NT: Right click on the printer icon and select Document Defaults. In the Document Defaults dialog box, select the Advanced pane, select Print Text as Graphics under Document Options. Change the setting to "ON."

  3. Using Windows 2000/ XP: Right click on the Printers Icon and select Printing Preferences. In the Printing Preferences dialog box select the Paper/Quality pane. Click on the Advanced button and click the link adjacent to True Type Font. Select Substitute with Device Font and click OK.

  4. Using Windows Vista: Right click on the Printers Icon and select Printing Preferences. Click on the Advanced button and click the link adjacent to True Type Font, "Substitute with Device Font" and click OK.

    5. When finished, click OK on all open dialogs to save your changes
