If I choose to file my return by mail, will the printed forms created by your program be accepted by the IRS and my state?
Our program creates your forms to precisely match the IRS and state taxing authority specifications. When you click the printer icon in the Adobe® Reader®, a "Print" dialog appears. In order to print the forms correctly, uncheck the "Fit to page" option on the "Print" dialog before clicking OK. There is a problem that is inherent with some inkjet printers. In order to properly print a fileable or scannable copy of a tax return, inkjet printers must be able to print within 1/8" from the bottom edge of the paper. Unless this requirement can be met, Inkjet printers should not be used to print copies of your return to mail to the taxing authority. In such instances, you have the choice of either filing electronically, if applicable, or transferring the information from our program to the official state form. |
